David and Anika have just returned from months of training in Los Angeles with 3 times World ESPN Salsa Champion, Zulmara Torres, and aim to provide an exciting and vibrant approach to LA salsa by offering students the absolute latest in salsa developments and culture.

David and Anika’s credits include: 2006 & 2007 First place winners at Copacabana Salsa Competition VIC, 2007 Winners of Tropicana National Salsa Championships SA, Sydney Salsa Congress 2006, LA Salsa Congress 2008, 3rd place Tropicana National Titles 2008, and you may also have seen them performing salsa in the Latin show at Copacabana with dynamic dance group Elegua. David and Anika are also trained in Bachata, Merengue, Reggaeton and Flamenco.

David and Anika are freelance salsa instructors, teaching at studios all over Melbourne. Sala Da Ballo are excited to offer a new 8 week salsa course with Melbourne’s freshest duo, David and Anika "DNA Salsa".
