Sala Da Ballo is a diverse dance entity. Sala Da Ballo is a dance space which encourages creativity, learning and excellence by providing a platform in which professional, independent and developing artists can network. Sala Da Ballo is synonymous with excellence in dance technique, quality tuition and innovation in dance education. Multiple dance disciplines are available for youth and adults, in an environment supervised by industry professionals.

The Sala Da Ballo environment is unique. At Sala Da Ballo, students have access to industry professionals and independent artists through semester classes, workshops, and professional performances. Learning is a primary goal of Sala Da Ballo, and we believe that learning must take place in an environment which promotes both nurturing and excellence. At Sala Da Ballo students will receive nurturing and an understanding of what ‘it’ takes to have a successful career in the dance industry. We believe it begins with outstanding tuition, and access and exposure to the standards and practices of industry professionals. Our teachers are experienced professionals from all levels of the Dance industry; graduates from the Victorian College of the Arts, The Australian Ballet School, and experienced performers from musical theatre, film and television. Our teachers have more than and understanding of what it takes to be successful in the industry.

The Sala Da Ballo concept is a multi pronged vision, which involves not only the tuition of established dancers, but also the cultivation and promotion of independent artists. Here at Sala Da Ballo we understand the challenges that face independent artists in the community, and therefore we offer independent artists, dance groups, and dance initiatives a dance space which understands their financial and space availability restraints. Sala Da Ballo aims to provide a space where industry professionals, and independent artists, can workshop, create and develop networks that can enrich dance in the community and amongst dance enthusiasts.
